Fishtail braid with 3 strands

Personally, I think the fishtail braid is a very fun braid. It's also a time consuming braid, but the result is definitely worth it!

For those who have mastered the French fishtail and the Dutch fishtail already, there's the 3 strand fishtail. This braid combines the technique of the French and Dutch fishtail.

* Step 1: Start by dividing the hair into 3 strands: two bigger strands and a thinner strand in the middle.
* Step 2: Grab a small section of hair from the left strand. Cross it over the left strand, under the thinner strand and add it to the right strand.
* Step 3: Grab a small section of hair from the right strand. Cross it under the right strand, over the thinner strand and add it to the left strand.
* Keep repeating steps 2 and 3 until you've reached the end of the hair.

My personal tips on this braid would be: braid with wet hair (this gives you the best result) and try to braid as tight as possible or you'll have spaces in between the braid stitches.
